Please contact BFMA prior to completing enrollment forms. Forms can be faxed, emailed or mailed to BFMA.

Why We Exist
Social Security often requires a representative payee when an individual is unable to manage their own finances due to disability or other challenges. Without a trusted support system, these individuals face homelessness, isolation, and financial vulnerability.
BFMA steps in to fill that gap — managing funds, paying bills, providing weekly personal funds, and advocating for clients in times of need.

Advocacy Beyond the Basics
Beyond paying bills, BFMA advocates for clients with landlords, utility companies, and creditors. We protect clients — many of whom are misunderstood or at risk — from financial exploitation and instability. Our holistic approach ensures not only survival, but a foundation for stability.

Who We Serve
- Counties Covered: Jackson, Clay, Platte, Buchanan, Johnson, and Wyandotte
- All clients are disabled and low income
- Most receive $783/month via SSI
